Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Services
Discuss your premises, required tasks and schedule. Confirm scope, supplier evidence, availability and commercial terms before work starts.
Kitchen cleaning starts with an agreed boundary
List the food-contact surfaces, floors, walls, equipment exteriors, waste areas and storage spaces included in the job. Identify which tasks kitchen staff carry out during service and which are assigned to the cleaning contractor. A deep clean does not replace the food business's daily hygiene arrangements.
Catering cleaning experience
Our owner has confirmed cleaning work supporting Pearl Lemon Catering, including kitchen and event-related settings. Individual assignments may be anonymised. This experience note does not imply a hygiene rating, client endorsement or measured outcome.

Cleaning and disinfection are different tasks
Remove visible contamination using the appropriate method before any required disinfection. Follow the product label, surface compatibility and manufacturer instructions. Agree how food is protected, who authorises the product and how the area is released back to production.
Specialist equipment and extraction
Confirm isolation, safe access and responsibility before moving or dismantling equipment. Extraction ducts, high-level areas, electrical components and other specialist tasks need explicit scope and competent personnel. Do not assume an ordinary kitchen clean includes certified extraction work.
What to include in your enquiry
Send the site postcode, production hours, equipment list, condition, photographs you can share, access restrictions and intended date. Identify food storage, waste arrangements and any separate extraction requirement. Scope, availability, exclusions and price will be confirmed in the proposal.

Planning your commercial kitchen cleaning specification
Separate daily hygiene duties from periodic deep cleaning. The quotation should identify equipment, accessible surfaces, shutdown requirements and the areas retained by the kitchen team.
| Area | Questions for the specification |
|---|---|
| Food preparation surfaces | Agree materials, approved products and methods with the site’s food safety procedures. Identify who checks the kitchen before reopening. |
| Cooking equipment | List each included appliance and accessible components. Specify isolation, cooling and any disassembly responsibilities. |
| Floors, walls and drainage | Record grease loading, access restrictions and drainage arrangements. Agree safe working around electrical equipment. |
| Extraction systems | Distinguish accessible canopy cleaning from specialist duct or extraction work. Confirm any specialist scope and required records explicitly. |
What changes the quotation?
Equipment count, grease build-up, specialist access, shutdown windows and the agreed extraction scope drive the quotation. A kitchen deep clean should not be priced as routine office cleaning.
These are planning considerations. Confirm availability, methods, exclusions and responsibilities in your proposal. Product safety data sheets inform the assessment; they do not replace a site-specific risk assessment. See HSE’s safety data sheet guidance.
