Industrial cleaning is judged on two things an office contract never has to think about: whether the clean holds up to an audit, and whether it can be delivered without stopping the line. Both are decided by the specification, not by how many hours are on the rota.

Dust is the audit finding that keeps recurring
Settled dust on beams, ducting, cable trays and light fittings is both a combustible-dust concern and the first thing an auditor photographs. It belongs on a periodic planner with proper access, not in the daily rota where it never happens.
Welfare and changing areas carry the most complaints
Locker rooms, boot washes, canteens and toilets on a shift-pattern site take punishing use. High frequency here does more for site morale and inspection outcomes than anything else in the specification.

How the schedule works
- Continuous-process sites are cleaned on a rolling zone rota timed to natural gaps in the process rather than a fixed hour.
- Two- and three-shift operations get welfare cover per shift changeover, which is when those areas are actually used hardest.
- Periodic works — high-level dust, degreasing, floor restoration — are booked into a 12-month planner and aligned to your shutdown calendar.
- Spill and incident response is defined in the contract with a target attendance time, so it is not negotiated during an incident.

Can you clean around live production?
Yes. Production areas are cleaned to an agreed boundary around running plant using zoned working and your traffic and permit systems. Anything requiring isolation or guard removal is scheduled into planned downtime with your engineers.
How is industrial cleaning priced?
By zone and frequency rather than a single rate, because a packing hall and a plant room are not comparable work. A site survey produces a specification with hours and periodic works attached, which is what the price is built from.
Do you handle shutdown and turnaround deep cleans?
Yes. Shutdown deep cleans are quoted as a separate scope with their own RAMS, resourcing and completion sign-off, and can be run alongside the routine contract or as standalone works.
Are your teams inducted to our site standards?
Every operative completes your site induction before working, plus our own training on the specification, chemicals and equipment for that zone. Supervisors hold the site-specific briefing record.
Can you support BRCGS, ISO or customer audits?
Yes. We keep signed task records, periodic planner completion and audit scores, and we will attend audits to evidence the cleaning regime where that is useful to you.
Do you cover multiple manufacturing sites?
Yes. Multi-site manufacturers are run on one specification framework with local supervision at each plant and consolidated reporting and invoicing centrally.
